Anti-Smoking
Currently Anti-smoking groups are urging their Health Minister to stick with her departments plans to increase the size of warning labels that are on cigarette packages. I have to agree that potentially having a larger warning label may have a greater positive impact towards its intended audience. The larger warnings are to be side by side with more graphic pictures warning you of the serious health and long term affects smoking can have on you and others surrounding you. Many smokers look at the warnings and shrug their shoulders…maybe the more horrific the information is may deter and make smokers think about quitting.
